Military exhibition

The Norwegian Airforce Museum is to be found in the second half of the museum. Apart from the over 25 unique airplanes, the collections consist of aircraft models, tableaus of airplane factories and control facilities. The museum also displays many larger objects such as anti-aircraft guns, missile systems and several radarsystems.

In addition you can find a large number of objects who communicates the history of military use of aircraft. From the earliest attempts at utilizing aircraft in military purposes, to the modern airforce of today. The exhibitions show collections from the different eras and also has thematic areas, showing the background and development of the Norwegian Airforce.

The collection is owned by the Norwegian Airforce and all enquiries concerning the collection is to be directed to the Head of the museum, major Anders Utgård.
